Appearance: Trowa/Triton has mustard brown hair cropped short at the back and a long, pointy uni-bang hanging in front of his face and often covering one of his forest green eyes. He is slightly too tall for his age, but is well-built and athletic. He has slightly tanned skin and looks almost European. His usual outfit is composed of tight dark green turtlenecks and straight-cut pants with plain shoes. His other outfit, which he wears to work, is a clown’s outfit of large green pants with yellow stars, suspenders, and a loose clown shirt checkered blue and white. The get-up comes complete with yellow clown ruffles at the neck, white gloves with ruffles of the same shade of yellow, red shoes, and half a clown mask which he sometimes wears out of his clown costume. The doukeshi mask only covers the right side of his face and is colored white, with a large purple star at its eye and half of a large smile painted on in red.

Personality: Trowa/Triton has split personalities. One is Triton, who is kind and nice, your typical well-meaning guy. He knows very little of war and is cheerful, fairly optimistic, almost simplistic in that he is shielded and lacks many experiences because of his alter. The other is named Trowa, and is the created but dominant of the two. He is quiet, but not shy, preferring to talk only when he has to. He is overprotective of his other half and will do anything to ensure his survival. Battle-hardened and deadly, he can instantly turn into a killing machine should the need arise. He is also quick to make decisions and often dead-sure of his actions. (Note: Trowa is very much like the canon-Trowa, if slightly more dangerous and suspicious of people.)

Trowa has a ‘poker face’ which rarely reveals his emotions. The only one who has been able to read him is his lover, a certain blond by the name of Quatre Winner. Trowa only cares for Triton and Quatre. On the other hand, Triton, who is not in love with Quatre, cares at some level for everyone he has ever met, and very much for his brother Christian.

Abilities/Strengths: Triton is naturally capable of taming even the wildest of animals on their initial meeting. He can walk on tightrope and can perform amazing acrobatics. Because his older sister is a knife-markswoman at the circus, with him being her usual target, he is not easily intimidated. He has also picked up some knife skills and first aid. Triton is ambidextrous.

Trowa is capable of everything Triton is. In addition, he is a sharpshooter and a competent hacker. He is a mechanic and is capable of driving/operating and maintaining all manners of vehicles. His expertise with machines extends to mobile suits, even the most complex of them like the gundamds. Trowa is also ambidextrous, a fact he makes good use of in the battlefield, wherein he can handle weapons efficiently with either hand, and shift to left-hand dominant maneuvers when facing inexperienced enemies.

Weapons: Trowa can work with almost all sorts of military weaponry and specializes in guns and mobile suits, esp. his Gundam Heavyarms. Triton has some skill with knives but is otherwise a non-combatant.

Weaknesses: Being an MPD, he is very much unstable. His alters get along and work well with each other, but how much one lets the other know of his actions is still up to one’s discretion. Trowa hides the most, to ‘shield’ Triton from bad experiences, but this then leaves his alter inexperienced and clueless. While the boy has control of the switch between the two personalities as well, there is always the 10% chance of a sudden, unplanned switch, which can lead to a number of situations ranging from amusing to dangerous (i.e. Trowa suddenly switching to Triton, who is a non-combatant, in the middle of battle).

History: Triton Bloom grew up as a performing clown and animal trainer in a traveling circus in space. War made him an orphan at a young age, but he still had his identical twin brother, Christian (OU: older sister Catherine Bloom), who he was very close to. Christian had uncanny marksmanship skills that the colony rebels thought they could make use of, so they tried to kidnap him. Unfortunately, it was Triton they nabbed instead. But since Triton had always been Christian’s target and never held the knives for the show, his accuracy wasn’t as good. He turned out to be a quick study in machinery however, and they found good use for him in the warehouses. The rich family funding the rebels in the L3 colony cluster was the Barton family. Triton became good friends with the family’s son, Trowa Barton, when he was assigned as mechanic on the man’s mobile suit. One day however, while working on the Gundam Heavyarms, Triton witnessed a fight between Trowa and one of the scientists involved in their operation, which ended with the scientist pulling out a gun and shooting Trowa dead. Having fallen in love with the suit he was working on, Triton volunteered to take Trowa’s name and be sent to earth instead.

However, ‘Trowa Barton’ became more than a borrowed name as he came to Earth and went to his first mission as a Gundam pilot. The missions given to the Gundam pilots generally consisted of attacking and annihilating bases and factories of the enemy. Triton, who had witnessed much death but has never actually been directly responsible for any, was suddenly compelled to perform what was practically mass murder. He snapped, creating the alter ego which he named ‘Trowa Barton’, who possessed all the skills and ruthlessness Triton had ever been forced to learn, or became witness to, in his time with the colony rebels. Trowa carried out his missions perfectly in an almost horrendous way, strictly sticking to his order of, Those who have laid eyes on a Gundam shall not live to tell about it, and never leaving any survivors. Triton was sent to Earth believing he was the only one, and not knowing of the other four Gundam pilots sent down with him. He eventually meets all of them however, and even got to stay with three of them—Heero Yuy from L1, Quatre Winner from L4, and Chang Wufei from L5—at different points in time. Of this three, Heero became what would ultimately be the closest Triton/Trowa ever had to a best friend (aside from each other) and Quatre…well, Quatre became Trowa’s boyfriend. Just Trowa though, because Triton is straight.

And for someone who is described as stoic, unfeeling, callous and whatever other synonym you may have for ‘cold-hearted’, Trowa loved Quatre a lot. Almost to the point of obsession, really. So when events lead to the Gundam pilots being scattered and Trowa going undercover to infiltrate the enemy, and Quatre becoming slightly crazy in his grief over the death of his father and decided to destroy everything in space, Trowa did what he could to snap him out of it and bring back the old Quatre, even at the risk of his own life. As it was however, he only ended up losing his memories—and ‘Trowa’ was completely buried as Christian found him and Triton claimed the life he would have had had he not been abducted by the rebels.

He could not completely escape war, however. First, Duo from L2, one of the other Gundam pilots, found him during one of their performances. Quatre eventually found him with info from Duo, and asked him to come back with him. Christian wouldn’t let him, and Triton had a feeling he should go but was hesitant as well. Ultimately, it was an unexpected and initially one-sided kiss from Quatre that forced Trowa awake. Promising Christian that Triton would return home safe after the war, Trowa once again became the more dominant alter and returned to the battlefield.

Eventually, all five Gundam pilots were gathered in a ship called the Peacemillion. Triton/Trowa was preparing for the final battle when he was drafted into Econtra’s army. In fact, he had just been about to get on Heavyarms when he was pulled out of his world.
